All of our animals
and some of our birds have been rescued. Some have been mistreated and
some are just unwanted.
Our aim is to give them a happy and secure home for the rest of their
lives. Unfortunately, some of the animals carry the scars of mistreatment,
these can be seen as behavioral problems as well as physical as well as
physical ones which are permanent.
We only offer homes to those animals who have a good quality of life and
we try to rid them of behavioral problems by giving them some interest
in their lives by providing hidden food, toys, and by varying the layout
of their pens regularly.

We fly some of the birds every day. These displays provide exercise for the birds as well as entertainment for you. Visitors to the centre may notice that the birds are tethered. This is for their own safety, as birds of prey will eat each other given the chance.
Rob has become an expert on birds of prey, primates and many exotic species. He is known nationally and intentional appearing on programs such as Blue Peter, The Really Wild Show, International news program and the Discovery Channel. He is currently working with Simon Adams, the international zoo vet.
